Kitchen Extension in Maidenhead

SM London Construction were contacted by Anand and Pooja in Maidenhead after they had found our details on a local Facebook page. Having taken a look at our work on our Instagram page, they realised we have previously worked with people they know, so reached out to them to hear only positive about working with us.

The first step on the project was to quote the project. We did this swiftly, and concisely, ensuring that every pricing aspect of the kitchen extension was detailed and explained within the quote.

We then started our site visits, where we discussed the client's desires and started to create a design and plan of action. At this stage, we gave the client a timeframe so that they would know how long the project would take from the start.

With a design and a timeframe discussed, the clients were happy for us to proceed, so we got started on the project as soon as possible.

The clients decided to continue living in the house while we worked to extend the space and fit a new kitchen. This was a key factor in the way we worked, as we wanted to make the experience as easy and stress-free as possible for them.

We built temporary pipework into the garage, which enabled the clients to continue having access to a dishwasher, sink, and washing machine to help with day-to-day living.

The project required a set of double doors to be knocked out. This process can create a lot of dust, so we implemented measures to limit the spread of dust and particles around the rest of the house. While carefully cutting out the double doors, we sealed the areas off, working hard to keep any mess within the contained area.

As the clients maintained living in the house, it was important that we kept the space tidy, so our team cleaned and tidied at the end of every day.

Thanks to careful planning and effective communication between all parts of the project, we were able to deliver a completed kitchen extension in the timeframe set out at the start of the project.

The new kitchen gave them a light and spacious kitchen area, complete with an island that included a waterful of the veins in the material, space for a large dining room table and double set folding doors that opened the area up to the garden.

The clients were thrilled with the process of completing the work and the final space that was created. They have already recommended us to others and we head to their parents to start a project soon.
