Ground Floor Extension and Renovation in Chichester Avenue, Ruislip

After visiting the Patel residence for an initial consultation, we surveyed their ground floor to get a solid understanding of how they wanted to transform the space. We then worked closely with the Patels and trusted third-party architects to draw up plans detailing the new layout, material selections, project timeline, and an accurate quote for our services.   

Once the Patels approved the plans, we began the renovation in earnest. We expanded the middle rear of the ground floor, filling the 18 square metre gap between the two existing extensions. This new addition would serve as an open concept living and dining area bathed in natural light. Complementing this modern extension, we also fully renovated the existing rooms, including the bathroom and bedroom, with contemporary designs and elegant finishes selected by the Patels.  

 The end result incorporated the following design features: 

• Hanging and recessed LED ceiling lights 
• Pitched skylight framed with built-in LED lighting strips 
• Bespoke cubby storage system for the bedroom 
• Wall panels that slide back to reveal bar display with hanging wine rack 
• Bespoke bay window and seat structure 
• Modernised bathroom with all-new fixtures 
• 14 custom-made, timber-topped steel beams as structural accenting 
• Bespoke bay window and seat structure overlooking the garden 
• Bi-fold doors connecting the garden to the dining area 
• White quartz worktops for the kitchen, some concealed behind cupboard doors 

We successfully completed the project in October 2021, only three months after starting. Our constant communication meant that the renovation proceeded smoothly while meeting all timeline benchmarks. 

The Patels were delighted by the end result - a seamless blending of new and old, creating a warm, inviting home for their family. They granted us permission to showcase their home as a model of our work, inviting potential clients for return visits.
